Yellow, Cello, Mellow

14 x 11 in., acrylic on canvas

Are we in New York or Paris?  The balcony suggests the latter. Is it jazz that will be played, or something from the classical repertoire? A cello is propped against the piano bench. Two ornate Chippendale chairs face us. The palette includes yellow, blues, greens, and purples. White brushstroke lines and black pen lines of acrylic ink define and outline the forms.
